THE QUIET BEGINNING

THE QUIET BEGINNING

Sometimes, before words or images, there's a quiet moment, a kind of pause that lets something deeper rise.

This letter begins there.

It's not a sales pitch, but a gentle offering from the quiet places my paintings come from.
In each edition, I'll share thoughts, glimpses of new work, and the deeper reflections behind the art. Not just how I paint, but why.

If you've ever found meaning in silence or seen yourself in a pane of glass, then perhaps this space is for you. It's a beginning, and I'm glad you're here.

A beginning
Thank you for being here, for downloading this first letter and for giving it your time. That alone means a great deal to me.

I began writing these letters because something felt missing in the way art is often shared online. I don't want to shout for attention or chase trends. I want to offer something quieter.

Something that reflects the kind of work I make.

Still, layered, and made to be returned to.

In the months ahead, I'll write now and then about the thoughts behind my paintings, the moments that inspire them, and the ideas that shape what I create. Not to sell, but to open a space for reflection, for conversation, for connection.

I paint city reflections, but more than that, I paint the feeling of pausing inside complexity.

Of noticing something overlooked.

Of stillness that says more than silence.

If you're curious, I'd love you to visit my online portfolio and spend a little time with one painting that draws you in. See what it holds for you.

If anything stirs a memory, a feeling, a thought, I'd be honoured if you shared it with me.

So, before next time, choose a painting, sit with it, reflect on it, and then send me a message about what that painting does for you.

Until next time.
