Graham Sanderson founded ACF after years of frustration with traditional canvases that failed artists over time. Instead of accepting sagging surfaces and unstable frames, he began re-engineering canvases from the ground up.

Starting in South Africa in 2013, Graham redesigned stretcher bars, materials, and surface coatings to perform better, last longer, and stay perfectly tensioned—no matter the climate or medium.

What began as hands-on experimentation evolved into a complete rethink of the artist’s canvas. Today, every ACF canvas reflects that same philosophy: build tools artists can trust, so nothing gets in the way of the work.
