ACF canvases are brilliant to work on.
A smooth, taute surface, although I still apply two coats of gesso before I paint in acrylics.
I honestly wouldn't want to paint on any other canvases now !
I am so impressed with the framed canvases, it feels so solid and looks very luxurious.
Excellent quality very smooth surface which is ideal for my painting technique. Very strong and tight canvas
Absolutely love the quality of the canvas, beautifully stretched and tight and strong. Won't use anything else !
I have received my box canvases and I am having fun creating on it. The paint glides on smoothly and I can create my on textured surface as I please, making my art application easier. Thank you so much.
A joy to paint on, smooth, taut and takes collage and mixed media superbly well! I will be sticking with these. The frames are beautifully made and set off my work perfectly.
My client wants 4 paintings. ACF is offering 4-canvas deals. How convenient. Gave these babies extra gesso and they're ready to go!
Cracking value and good canvases to work on, nice and tight. This will be my go to canvas supplier moving forwards.
Amazing canvases. Very happy! I’ve 10 of them and am looking forward to getting going 🌸
Am loving your canvases. They are completely different to any others I’ve tried. Like the sturdiness of them, but still with a spring. have ordered more!
Great product 😊 Appreciating the discounts/multiples, considering the price of art supplies lately. Fantastic surface - sometimes I apply an extra layer of gesso; sometimes not. Opening the packaging makes me feel like I'm busting someone out of jail, but then I use the plastic to protect my floor when I paint and varnish, so win-win.
I bought two deep and two stretched canvases 12x 16 with oak frames.
I was impressed by their quick arrival, and so protectively packaged it took me twenty minutes with my arthritic hands to open the parcel, but oh, was it worth it.
These canvases and frames are superb. They are really well made and very stylish. I love the natural oak veneer and will not be staining or painting it.
So far I have only removed one of the deep canvases from the frame which involved unscrewing the four screws and popping it out. The surface of the canvas was very good, though I have chosen to gesso and lightly sand it as I want a very smooth glasslike surface.
I am now building up my courage to put paint on these lovely objects. That first stroke. Don’t want to spoil them with inferior work. (Ha ha!)
I have already taken the items to two Art Painting groups to show my fellow artists the quality of these products and I am also about to write a piece for our Art Association Newsletter to spread the knowledge further.
Love the surface of these and the strength and tautness.
