So, I’ve been using ACF canvases for several years now, their canvases are sensational! For fine details, and a taught surface, you cannot get better! We tried the round canvas for the first time, and WOW! Unbelievable!!!

Works well with my Acrylic paint.
I was very impressed with the results working on ACF canvases. I started with an acrylic underpainting depicting the whole composition in variations of purple. Working with a flat brush, I found the watery paint covered well and there was enough 'grip'. The smoothness coupled with slight tooth and tautness of the surface proved ideal. Moving on, I painted the finished work in a couple of sittings using oil pigment sticks. Wow! So, despite the fact that there was no brushwork involved, just 'drawing' and blending with fingers, the canvas performed perfectly. For my style of expressive realism, the firm surface was great. Just enough 'give' to give me good feedback to my fingers without being sloppy. I always paint the round the sides of my canvases, and the sharp corners were excellent too. Finally, I loved that there's no ridge at the edge of the canvas. Pigment can be evenly spread right to the edge. Did I say Wow! I meant it.
Ive spent months doing a project. Finished. Then I received 4 small 15cm square from you. What a pleasure. In a week I had painted all 4. The thin lines went on.The sunset blended. It was a week of great fun. With a great product.
These canvases are the best I've ever had! Everything you promised in your advertising is true. I'm very happy and would highly recommend them! I've share my recommendations to our painting group.
I think your canvasses are brilliant. I use oil paint on linen canvas so it will take a little time to get used to painting on a new surface. You asked for brutal honesty. Could you try using a different primer. I feel the paint doesn't flow as well as the linen surface I'm used to.
ACF canvases are brilliant to work on.
A smooth, taute surface, although I still apply two coats of gesso before I paint in acrylics.
I honestly wouldn't want to paint on any other canvases now !
A joy to paint on, smooth, taut and takes collage and mixed media superbly well! I will be sticking with these. The frames are beautifully made and set off my work perfectly.
I love the canvases and all my students love them.They dont even want to paint on rough cotton canvases anymore.Neither do I, so please keep doing what you are doing.
This is my first order with ACF. I’d read so many good reviews and I needed to buy something special as this is for a commission. Cant believe how quickly they arrived, first of all. Amazing. But the quality is top notch! Tight as a drum, corners bevelled to perfection. Can’t wait to start on these babies. As a fluid artist I find it difficult to maintain the tension with traditional canvases but these bad boys are just next level plus the flow of the paint over them is way much smoother than a cotton one! Thankyou ACF Canvasses 🙌
