It’s quite different from canvas and that’s for sure, I can totally see the well built construction. As long as you don’t scumble a lot then you’re good-as in use a little more paint if Acrylic is your jam(or paint).
Wish there was an option for a 4 pack in sizes smaller than 16”x20”

perfect for blob artwork no warping of panel or the frame with the heavy medium. All round quality of the box board panel perfect. Ordering and delivery perfect no problems at all. Will definitely be buying more

Excellent canvas,I was really impressed on how well it is made

I’m an experienced oil painter and currently working on my fourth ACF box canvas.
This is (for me), a new surface and I’m beginning to get to grips with it. I’ve had to adjust and adapt slightly, but nothing too drastic - the paint moves over the drum-tight surface really well and I’m producing some quality work.

My landscapes are mostly impressionistic and I would like to see a more coarser surface introduced into the range, along with some natural coloured canvas, eliminating the need to add a ‘ground’ colour, as I never paint on a pure white surface.

These are incredible quality, the box board means a rigid painting surface which is perfect for my style. Very smooth tooth, enough to grab the paint but smooth enough to allow smooth unbroken lines and detail. Very high quality and for professionals I have no hesitation in recommending them. May be a little pricey for hobbyists but that is reflected in the quality you are getting. These far exceed mainstream suppliers such as Windsor and newton professional series, there is just no comparison. Fantastic communication also

I thought I would buy the Box Board Canvases as I had read the adverts and wanted to see if they are as good as people say……I’m full of anticipation to get painting as they look really good; solid and well made. Perfect for getting stuck in with palette knife, scraper and sandpaper!

The canvas is absolutely fantastic. The only down side was the time it took for the item to actually be shipped. waiting 9 days from order date until it’s actually shipped is a bit disappointing, but other than that. Very happy with the product

I bought nine box board canvasses for a series I am working on. I am very impressed with the build quality and the sturdiness of the product. I like the fine tooth on the canvas, as that's my preferred texture to paint on. I've experimented with acrylic, alcohol ink and oil and they all take to the surface beautifully. I'm looking forward to working up complete paintings.
